Where is your stuff?!
You may have noticed that the store doesn’t have much stuff in it. That’s because we’d rather work on items that we know have a home waiting for them. So we will make some goods, mostly for in person sales at faires and other events. But with just two of us part time, we can’t stock all of the varieties of masks and bags and plushes.
Let’s face it, this stuff isn’t cheap. We don’t really use cheap leather (unless we get a good deal) and our time has value. One way to really make that piece special is to give you the chance to make the choices. Want red leather and green stitching for a dice bag? Works for us. Want a dragon mask lined with fleece? Ok, we’ll try to figure it out. Want bracers, a skirt hike, a flask holder, and a water bottle holder in matching leather and hardware? We can do that. Want that set purple to match your outfit? Again, we can do that. But we can’t stock all that.
So scroll through the terms of service, and fill out the form at the bottom of the page and let us know how we can craft that special set of goods for you. Basically, you give us an idea. We tell you if we can. We work out some details and a price. You give us half so we can order the supplies. We make it. You pay the rest, and we send it out to you.
Terms of Service for Custom Leather Goods
- Initial Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total order cost is required at the time of purchase. This deposit covers the cost of materials and the preparatory phases of your custom project. Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, as it commits us to begin work on your order.
- Final Payment: The remaining 50% of the total order cost is due prior to shipping. We will notify you when your order is complete and ready for final payment. Goods will not be shipped until the full balance is paid.
- Leather is a natural material, and as such, variations in finish, texture, color, and appearance are to be expected. These variations are not defects but inherent characteristics of handmade leather goods. We strive to ensure consistency, but no two pieces will be identical. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations.
- We provide best estimates for the completion of construction and shipping at the time of your order. However, due to the custom nature of our work, these timelines are not guaranteed and may be subject to delays. If it becomes apparent that we will miss an estimated deadline, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible to keep you informed of the updated timeline.
- Once your order is confirmed, all designs, materials, and finishes are considered final. Changes to these elements after confirmation are unlikely and cannot be guaranteed. In rare and limited circumstances, we may be able to accommodate modifications at our sole discretion, but this should not be relied upon. We encourage you to carefully review and confirm all details before submitting your order.
- Order Cancellation: Orders cannot be canceled once the non-refundable deposit has been paid and work has begun. If you choose not to proceed with final payment, the deposit will not be refunded, and the goods will not be shipped.
- Quality Assurance: We take pride in our craftsmanship and will ensure your leather goods meet our high standards. However, due to the custom and handmade nature of our products, minor imperfections may occur and are not grounds for refund or return.
